THE PACK IS BACK!!



Michael Mirand, jazz and standards vocalist, Frank Sinatra Tribute Artist, composer, actor and director has been performing professionally for nearly forty years.

Hailing from Buffalo, New York with family roots in Welland and St. Catharines, Ontario, he primarily performs in clubs, concert halls and in Jazz Festivals throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario; although he is a regular performer in Central Florida up and down the Space Coast. He has also performed in Montreal, New York City, Saratoga Springs, Boston, Las Vegas, and in D.C.

His standards sets with his Jazz Trio "Upbeat" include the music of the Gershwins, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Johnny Mercer, Rogers and Hart, Cahn and Van Heusen, Antonio Carlos Jobim as well as Bebop and beyond artists such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Horace Silver and more, with a song list includes over 500 songs.  His CD's can be purchased through CD Baby.

Michael's theatrical career includes performing and directing nearly 200 plays musicals and several movie and TV parts including the male lead in the film "Where In The Hell Is North Tonawanda?" He performed his own composition in the film, which he re-recorded on his new CD "Don't Worry 'Bout Me". He has been touring in his play which he wrote and directed called "The Rat Pack Show", playing Frank Sinatra, with his two pals who play Dean Martin and Sammy Davis. They even bring a Marilyn along for a wild ride. Catch him with his trio, quartet, with big bands, his one man show tribute to Ole Blue Eyes, or with his two "Rat Pack" pals.
