Since abandoning his successful pizza delivery career in 2000, Gabriel has quickly made his mark as a stand-up comic. His sharp material, lightning fast audience interaction, and lack of a fall back plan have all combined to make him one of the country's most exciting new headliners. He often takes an honest and self-deprecating look at his own life, including his marriage. "Really, there is nothing better for you as a couple, than to be out of shape. Eventually you just get to the point where you say 'Well, honey, looks like we've eaten ourselves into a monogamous relationship.'"
In 2004, Gabriel was crowned the winner of the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition.
